BPS-INC CAPABILITIES
TABLETING
BPS-INC operates tablet presses ranging from 8 to 40 tons pressure. A forty one station Manesty double side rotary press produces tablets up to ¾” in diameter at speeds up to 1000 tablets per minute. Our largest rotary press, an 18 station 20 ton press can produce tablets as large as 2” diameter at rates up to 325 per minute.
The largest tablets available are 3” diameter, 2” tall tablets weight 8 ounces or more produce on a double acting 40 ton press.
Presses can be keyed to produce non-round shapes or cored to produce tablets with center holes.
BPS-INC can offer assistance developing tablet formulation for customers looking to bring new products to market.
Products tableted in the past include dies for water treatment, corrosion inhibitors, insecticides, biocides, super absorbent polymers, fertilizers and active biological products for drain and septic system maintenance.
